What I’ve been knitting and wearing

OKM sweater and a wool pencil skirt from Goodwill.

I found this shirt (?) at Fabulous Finds in Streetsboro, Ohio. The back is fine mesh and the front is sequined with a crazy beaded fringe. It was just ridiculous enough for me to love. And again, the yacht pants that I wear too often.

I made this silly cat from Lion Brand’s fisherman’s wool.

Another adVenture Data kitty for a coworker.

I started knitting Beatnik from the most recent knitty. It is going to be a labor of love, but I am looking forward to it. I won’t be able to work on it at work, so it will take considerably longer. I can’t be on the phone with people and read complex cables.

I’m using Debbie Stollers new Red Heart Yarn, Alpaca Love. It is 80% wool and 20% alpaca and so far I am very impressed. It is going to take me 9 skeins but it is pretty affordable at $4.99 a pop.

Stay tuned!
