It has been so long since I have made something cute. I worked on this little amigurimi flower pot this afternoon while watching Almost Famous, a fabulous movie I hadn’t seen in forever. I lined the inside with the bottom of a water bottle, weighed down with bottle caps and stuffing. To make the flower stand up straight, I used strips of cardboard ducktaped to the inside of the bottle.

I love that this is constructed almost entirely from scraps of wool and trash. Green crafting is so trendy!

I am trying to get a lot of crafting done before the real bulk of the summer is in full swing. I start my internship with the Red Cross of Greater Cleveland on Monday. It’s going to cut into my crafting/shenanigans time quite a bit, but such is growing up. I think?
